Hand Therapy
Losing hand and/or arm function due to injury or pain can severely impact
someone’s quality of life. Until that function is lost, it is easy
to take for granted how integral our hands and arms are for our daily
living. At Kaweah Health Hand Therapy Specialists, our patients work with
highly trained therapists, many of whom are Certified Hand Therapists
(CHT), for one-on-one treatments designed to reduce pain and improve functional
use of the upper extremity. Therapists are skilled to formally evaluate
every patient’s condition, provide wound care, fabricate custom
splints, help modify activities of daily living, and reduce pain through
a variety of modality uses in order to help patients return to full living!
